METEOR AIRLINES
Meteor Airlines are a Moroccan rock band from the region of Tinghir in the southeast of Morocco. The band was founded in 2016 and is currently producing songs in their mother tongue Tamazight and have a distinct visual identity where they wear Cloaks known as “Azennar“.
Their music can take several forms from calm acoustic tunes to heavier sounds and could be categorized under what they created and called Amazigh Rock, in which the themes are related to Amazigh history, values and customs.
AZENNAR
'Azennar' or 'burnous' symbolizes and embodies the band's visual identity, during its public appearances, such as concerts, interviews, or promotional activities. It represents the band's style, ethos, and attitude to the world. The idea of collective wearing of Azennar is comparable to the bond and camaraderie within Meteor Airlines. As wearers of Azennar, the band is mirroring the spirit of unity, collective leadership, all members work in harmony to create music, like a family operates together, each playing their specific roles but contributing to the whole.
